Why Join?

Joining the Ireland China Business Association provides a unique platform within which Irish and Chinese companies, entrepreneurs, and individuals can access networking opportunities with business leaders and industry experts. Our membership categories suit businesses of all shapes and sizes, from multinationals to start-ups to individuals to studends, and are designed to cater for all stages of China market entry. Our extensive calendar of business and social events, allows our members to develop key relationships necessary to doing business in China. Membership affords a medium to raise member profile, through sponsorship, advertising and promotional opportunities. Membership also gives access to the EU SME Centre. This will give our members access to browse the EU SME Centre’s publications, take part in events being held by the Centre and get involved in their advocacy outreach.

Open to all companies and organisations.

Patron Fee: €1,500 per year from 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 (If you prefer, two year’s Patron membership is available for €2,500, and will include calendar years 2025 and 2026).  We are delighted to confirm that your annual membership includes:

  1. Placement of your company logo on our website (with link to your website)
  2. Option of sponsorship for our events and activities
  3. Access to exclusive ‘Patron Only’ events
  4. Opportunities to host joint events in 2025
  5. Speaking opportunities at events in 2025
  6. Your logo on marketing materials for sponsored events
  7. Opportunities to attend networking and informative ICBA events throughout 2025
  8. Member rate for all Ireland China Business Association paid events
  9. Member briefings, information seminars, networking events and Chinese delegation participation
  10. Access to the EU-SME Centre, which provides expert advice on doing business in and with China

Open to all companies and organisations.

Corporate Fee: €500 per year from 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 (If you prefer, two years’ Corporate membership is also available for €850).  We are delighted to confirm that your annual membership includes:

  3. Attendance at networking and informative ICBA events throughout 2025
  4. Opportunities to host joint events – with your logo on the event marketing materials
  5. Member briefings, information seminars, networking events and Chinese delegation participation
  6. Access to the EU-SME Centre, which provides expert advice on doing business in and with China

 

Open to small companies with 3 or less employees

Business Fee: €250 per year from 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. 

We are delighted to confirm that your annual membership includes:

  1. Speaking opportunities at Ireland China Business Association events
  2. Member rate for all Ireland China Business Association events
  3. Opportunity to attend networking and informative ICBA events throughout 2025
  4. Member briefings, information seminars, networking events and Chinese delegation participation
  5. Access to the EU-SME Centre, which provides expert advice on doing business in and with China

Individual Fee: €100 per year from 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.  Individual Membership can be taken out at any time during the year, and is valid for one year from this date. 

We are delighted to confirm that your annual membership includes:

  1. Member rate for paid Ireland China Business Association events

    2. Opportunities to attend networking and informative ICBA events throughout 2025: briefings, information seminars, networking events and Chinese delegation participation

    3. Access to the EU SME Centre, which provides expert advice on doing business in and with China

Student Membership can be taken out at any time during the 2025 year, and is valid for one year.   It is open to any individual working toward a final degree (including postgraduate degree) in Ireland, and who is actively engaged in China-related activities. Student ID (copy of) must be supplied in support of a Student Membership application. Student Membership is limited to four years or upon receipt of the final degree, whichever is sooner.
